Despite being made from food-safe plant material, our straws are not edible. Our straws also do not alter your drink’s taste or leave an aftertaste in your mouth.

When left in nature, it takes around 6-8 months for our straws to fully decompose.

If they end up in a proper composting facility, it takes about an hour.

If the straws remain selaed in the box, the products can last up to one (1) year.

Unlike rice straws, our sugarcane and coffee straws do not attract pests like ants or rats, and molds.

Our sugarcane straws are a carbon neutral product. This means that the manufacturing processes involved (from raw material extraction from actual sugarcanes to waste disposal) are considered net-zero from start to finish.
